Author Micro Biography

Rev. Peter John Marshall (1940-2010), also known as Peter N. Marshall, Peter Marshall, and Peter Marshall Jr., was founder and director of Peter Marshall Ministries. He was the son of Dr. Peter Marshall, former chaplain of the U.S. Senate, whose life was featured in the book A Man Called Peter and a motion picture of the same name. Not surprisingly, some quotations from the writings and sermons of the younger Peter Marshall are occasionally mis-attributed to (or assumed to have been spoken or written by) his equally famous father. Among the prolific works of Rev. Marshall are three best-selling books: The Light and The Glory, From Sea to Shining Sea, and Sounding Forth the Trumpet.
